How is it truck drivers who are in short supply because of many reasons feel its a good use of their time and resources driving across Canada when they should be doing their job instead of adding to the shortage of trucks. Do they think they should be taking a vacation in the middle of a crisis? Who are these truckers who have so much time to do nothing but protest for a week or two?

The vast majority of people support covid vaccines and mandates. If some truckers don't like it, they can complain to their MLA or MP or whoever they want.

As long as we live in a free country the majority rules. We all have the opportunity to express our opinion but in the end it is our elected officials who make decisions on the most benefit for society as a whole.

This is one anti vaxx protest that might actually catch people’s attention. A lot of what consumers buy arrives on a truck. Listening to Roy Green yesterday, only caught a couple minutes, but roughly 25% of Canadian truckers are not vaccinated. The guest said that could mean as high as 30000 just Canadian truckers affected. Many many more in the U.S. If Canadians see empty shelves and increased prices this could certainly blow up in Trudeau’s face. Calgary CTV news headline:”Fundraiser for rally to protest vaccine mandate on truckers exceeds $1.6 million.” Truckers are by themselves most of the time. The vaccine does not stop infection or transmission. You do make one correct point Chuck2, we are already short of truckers. Extremely stupid policy in my opinion. We already have high inflation, we should be doing everything we can to heal the supply chain not throw another wrench into it!!
