Apparently A5 and Crop can't handle the truth. So your answer is burn it to the ground and trust no one. You are poor example of humanity.

The antivaxers lie and spread misinformation that is proven wrong time again by experts who do clinical trials and have lots of real world data to draw conclusions from.

But amateur arm chair antivaxers and farmers on Agrisilly think that their opinions are a replacement for actual scientific conclusions based on large amounts of data?

And Absurd 5 the chronic bullshitter says the vaccines didn't work! LOL

Where is the scientific study from a credible scientific organization that backs up that disinformation? We are waiting and waiting.........

Crickets and distractions again and again from the antivaxer antiscience crowd! That's all we get!

Safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines: A systematic review and meta-analysis of controlled and randomized clinical trials

        Abstract

Vaccines against coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been discovered within a very small duration of time as compared to the traditional way for the development of vaccines, which raised the question about the safety and efficacy of the approved vaccines. The purpose of this study is to look at the effectiveness and safety of vaccine platforms against the incidence of COVID-19. The literature search was performed on PubMed/Medline, Cochrane, and clinical trials.gov databases for studies published between 1 January 2020 and 19 February 2022. Preferred Reporting Items for Systemic Review and Meta-Analysis Statement guidelines were followed. Among 284 articles received by keywords, a total of 11 studies were eligible according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria (studies in special populations, e.g., pregnant women, paediatric patients, editorials, case reports, review articles, preclinical and in vitro studies) of the study. A total of 247,186 participants were considered for randomisation at baseline, among them, 129,572 (52.42%) were provided with vaccine (Intervention group) and 117,614 (47.58%) with the placebo (Control group). A pooled fold change estimation of 0.19 (95% CI: 0.12-0.31, p < 0.0001) showed significant protection against the incidence of COVID-19 in the vaccines received group versus the placebo group. mRNA based, inactivated vaccines and non-replicating viral vector-based vaccines showed significantly protection against the incidence of COVID-19 compared to placebo with pooled fold change estimation was 0.08 (95% CI: 0.06-0.10), 0.20 (95% CI: 0.14-0.29) and 0.36 (95% CI: 0.28-0.46), respectively. Injection site discomfort and fatigue were the most common side effect observed in mRNA, non-replicating viral vector, inactivated, and protein subunit-based vaccines. All the approved vaccines were found safe and efficacious but mRNA-based vaccines were found to be more efficacious against SARS-CoV-2 than other platforms.

The truth certainly does not come from conspiracy web sites and pseudo doctors. If you are that disillusioned with society go to your underground bunker and stay away from civilization.

Here is the unfortunate reality, out of the small group of people in my world there were many that received the shot and many that didn’t. From my lived experience the rate and severity of those who got Covid was very similar in both groups. Personally I found the more paranoid and isolationist you were the sicker you got and the more boosters you got same result. Realistically in that case I don’t blame the shot, generally those who are interested in more boosters tend to have a history of getting sick more often prior to Covid.
One constant though, among the younger crowd, the twenty and thirty year olds with young children, the trust in all vaccines has certainly been lowered. They are either hesitant or refuse to get traditional vaccines like the MMR vaccine, which I think is very unfortunate. Making vaccinations mandatory(which I think they were when I was a kid over 50 years ago) would not go ever well. The inability of Covid shot supporters to understand the reality that from a layman’s perspective we saw no advantage to getting the shot and to continue to question the intelligence of those who didn’t simply pushes people farther away, as would stronger government intervention.

2 deaths in children from measles already and there will be more in unvaccinated hot spots across Canada.

We have new generations who have little experience or knowledge of the harm done by childhood diseases.

Ask a victim of polio what they think of the polio vaccine.

Preventing disease with vaccines is one of the most cost effective health care strategies. Polio vaccines are made available in many developing countries at a very low cost.

Anecdotal observations are interesting, but do not replace properly designed larger scale scientific studies done by experts.

Which is exactly what RFK is calling for.

Glad to see you supporting MAHA and the scientific method.

Why do you bother joining in the discussion if you're not going to bother reading what other posters have been discussing, before imagining what you think they said and responding to the voices in your and forages own overactive imaginations?

Go back to where this thread first went off the rails to become a covid thread.

Goalie guy correctly pointed out that two seemingly contradictory things can both be true.

I had recently posted the exact same thing regarding covid vaccines being both beneficial and harmful depending on who and when. I made no claims about which result was larger than the other.

If even one person died from the vaccine, and millions were saved, the statement would still be true, or vice versa.
