Monettes probably paid $700k and will make money selling at RB.

Ridiculous how cheap they sell new iron to those large customers.

There are always fools with too much money or too few brains but usually the wheels fall off the wagon after a few years.

I asked my accountant a couple years ago , how many have squandered the generation money on paint? He smile and quietly said - lots.

Not only the money but tied the land up as well. Generations of savings.

Most dads help there kids get started including mine just seems right to help the next gen.Won't be any shinny steel past down just some well seasoned stuff. How much money do most guys need to retire if health is good and you can still live in your home?

A good accountant in the annual review will cover machinery expense per acre and advise if the ratio is getting out of hand. I like running newer stuff as I fixed a lot more on old stuff years ago. It's a vicious circle but adding more acres keeps cost per acre down, but things wear out quicker. There is a limit though.

Think they got there without the parent company and dealer support.

It's like purebred cattle sales where first cattle through are horse traded or inflated to set the bar for the rest of the sale...

JD dealer at Emerald Park loaded up to 40 bears with new combines. Better be a crop but then the American’s monster dollar goes a lot further.

Some good deals on combines. Not sure about the X9's but the low houred CR's went $250k less then what Mazers was asking on the lot a couple months ago.
