Who willingly goes on a cruise? disgusting, filthy floating hog barns even at the best of times. Serves them right. Hope their paying for the ride home, and not the taxpayer.

I think I mighta read a similar article or two. If you put any stock in it says Han Chinese are at greatest risk as well as Japanese and Koreans. Africans lower risk while Western Europeans lowest risk. I need to find the article cause it gives a logical explanation of cell receptors in the lungs of asians are more prone. Said smokers a screwed too. Said SARS behaved the same. Last thing we want to turn this into a racist thing but neglecting to acknowledge it is no better. Another thing, population demographics of China, Korea, Japan are old. So when a large portion of your population is vulnerable no wonder it is an epidemic.

South Korea appears to be going parabolic now...

Case load had doubled 3 days in a row.

I think we officially wandered through the looking glass this week...

                South Korea,
                Japan,
                Italy,

                All going parabolic.

Japan just reported 57 new cases. 55 crew from diamond princess, and 2 passengers. Truly troubling aspect is that 50 of the crew and the 2 passengers were "asymptomatic".

The patient, festering nature of this thing is wild...

Had another tweet of pictures of completely bare shelves in a supermarket in Milano Italy just a few minutes ago but was just scrubbed from twitter.

Tracking cell phones, Apparently 140k have abandoned Wuhan, this would explain why. Army has seized rice fields.

I'd like to see the number of wuhan registered cell phones with long term contracts that have simply fallen off the radar...

There maybe more cases of coronavirus in Canada than it appears . This isnt the 1st report that I heard that doctors are not allowed to run tests for Covid19 unless directly travelled from China recently. Like WTF?

guys the regular flu killed 80,000 Americans last year and 3000 Canadians.

Have some perspective. It's not a pandemic yet.

Its 2 months old Jazz and comparing it to the flu silly at this point in time. Btw it just met the WHO's official definition for pandemic, but they decided they arent going to call it one. Too scary of word I guess. The time to nip it in the bud is right off the bat, no pun intended. The lack of proper procedure is a concern. 10% of the worlds population is now in quarantine and I'm not interested in being part of that statistic. However I said weeks ago that I think this is going to be nasty lesson in exponential growth for the general public. Let's hope to god I'm wrong and by some miracle it gets under control, but stocking up on some extra shit wipe is never a bad idea.

Btw listened to some of that Zeihan video, some may find him witty but I think the guy is a total goof, value 0.

His humour aside, you don't see anything in his global insights that match up with reality? I see him pretty spot on for most of that. He called wexit tensions 6 years ago.
