    land auction today

anyone buy up the land today at RB sale today?

    #2
Those are some interesting results. Some sold for about 1X assessment and some well below that. High was only about $1000/ac.........

    WTF&Y

Too much for sale at once and not enough buyers

    Some quality issues(based on assessment)

    Screen shot in next post....

Some bankers will be busy reviewing financial statements tomorrow looking for negative equity. Though the Yorkton sale was reasonable too with cultivated ground at $1200 per cultivated acre. Around or under assessment. Some of the better ground selling here east of Edmonton recently, seemed to maintain the 500 to 600K per quarter of the last 5 years. Poorer stuff here just stays for sale for years as sellers won't take less.

A couple of quarters at Sintaluta Sk sold for $331,000 and $341,000.

$248800 and $219000 fair value assessment, west half of same section.

High point of insanity was the rycroft land sold on the 13th, poor grain slash cow dirt, sold up to 420000. I know i live there.

It's about 12 miles east of me, that's way better land than I have as I'm truly the king of the Getto. Ha.

I think a lot of that land is going to crap and flint hard, most of the cultivated land out this way is around a hundred thousand a quarter.
