Furrow . . . Skyrocketing ocean freight container rates have likely peaked as well, but this may take a few months to feel the eventual pullback (IMO). Easing China demand should free up containers . . . .

This is where trump was right , hate him or not , we need more North American made products of everything. Relying on China for nearly everything has strangled so much of everything we need

What's the deal with the chips for the new trucks?
Every plant is shut down now?

Was reading yesterday, the countries and/or plants making chips are having a 4th wave with Wuhan Delta.

Plant slowdowns/shutdowns will add to delays in getting trucks on the market,,, this could end up being very serious for many industries.

And farm equipment. But let’s not worry
About the virus. Here’s a prime example
Of what happens. And sorry for bringing
Covid into this topic but it is rhe cause. Also
            Many other shortages.

They have said that about container rates probably a dozen times in the last year, each time dead wrong I heard.

How many parts come on a ship...the freight cost can probably be picked up with pennies per part not the 100s of dollars they are charging.

MY 2004 GMC has air , cruise and power windows but NO TV yet it still works. Maybe if they didn't put so much shit in these new trucks they wouldn't need all these dumbass computer chips.
