I've seen two different ads for M.A.I.D. on TV, being an option is one thing but does it need to be promoted like that?

I believe they're sponsored by Dying with Dignity Canada.
Where does an organization like that get their funding or generate revenue to pay for ads, pay staff and the Board of Directors.

No govt funds go to dying with dignity. They dont own buildings . Just some investments and then donations. Benefactors who die and actually appreciate the opportunity to choose how they end . So they leave a tip.

Again why do some people think its okay to tell other people how to live their life and criticize very personal decisions that have no impact on them when it comes to end of life MAID?

The medical system before MAID routinely made life and death decisions that shorten or extend life. Having MAID is a great relief to those who fear the agony of suffering painful inevitable deaths from cancer or other terminal illness. Which are the vast majority of MAID cases.

Anyone ever helped a 60 yr old formerly healthy person out of bed....who at their peak was 200 lbs...and days before their death they weighed a measly 89 lbs because of cancer?
felt their spine sticking inches up out of the skin and nearly poking holes thru their t- shirt?
had to clean up their bedpan and diaper ...when 6 months earlier you were riding a motorbike on a nice 3 day roadtrip with that same person?

the vast vast vast majority are terminal cancer patients who use maid and make that decision of their own while they are in their right mind.

odds are good if you are a male in canada and married ( or have a gf) then your partner supports the right to abortion.
