Australia’s renewable transition has hit a major hurdle following a catastrophic failure at the $1 billion Waratah super battery. Owned by American company blackrock
Think it's back operating at 30% so all systems regardless of wind solar coal etc have operational issues.
It's not that old and its old news here now.

Dont engage with him but all systems fail especially in austrlias hot summers they dial things back in afternoons on heatwave days and system cant handle it as all the back coal stuff has been decommissioned. Three days of seems like 45/6 44 43 there could be failures on day 3 I just crank up diesel powered generator by house flick an external switch im good to go. One year power was out for almost 5 days I had about 9 people visit for a warm shower on day 3 neighbours who got a bit wiffy

Most Aussies here dont really care about climate change for or against everyone just sick to death of both sides same with pointless indigenous debates and saying sorry for the 15th time people are sick of it even indigenous groups you guys over there way different more take every issue seriously were as Aussie dont give a F more interested in housing affordability cheaper energy more houses better roads less ambulance ramping at hospitals excessive immigration stop for a while we are full just at moment etc etc bread and butter issues.

You guys more climate aware and more concerned about plight of indigenous highly commendable but its just the way Australians are same with alt left Lonnies and alt right as bad as each other

I think Canadians are moving quickly to similar opinions about those things.
Trudeau used them as a wedge to devide groups.
You were either with him or against him. No common ground.
He ended when most were against him, and most of those policys moved to the bottom of the list.
Carney is much the same, but that is not what he campaigned on.
He kept that all in the background, and won on Orange Man Bad.
So we still appear to see those things as top issues, but as you say, not what most see as their concern.
People generally see how much damage has been done to our economy and society in general over the past 10+ yrs and see the sacrifices we have made in economic well being as individuals.

                Climate change aside.

Carney winning because of "Orange Man Bad"

You saying PP's 51st influencers aren't responsible for the 25% lead he lost in a couple of months?

You know how they love to throw out the pharse " follow the money" on Agriville

                ?

PP lost because the NDP vote collapsed.
He won some support in urban Ontario and had more votes than the CPC has had in a long time.
But the NDP gave up enough seats to give Carney the minority.
                  Probably some in Manitoba?

But mostly it was TDS and ABC the tipped the balance.
And for sure Carney brought in support with the image he portrayed.
                  IMHO, not the real Carney.

And yet again what happened showed the power of the liberal sponsored media , that presented carney as the only person that could deal with the so called crisis
