    Could it be childhood vaccines?

I am a boomer. I think I may have had maybe 2 or 3 vaccines during childhood. Polio was one. Tetanus maybe? When I was 1 year old, my mother had Asian flu. I did not get it. Today, children receive upwards of 25 vaccines within the first 2 years of life. !! See: https://www.canada.ca/en/public-heal...s.html#p1c12a2

The Public Health Agency, in the report Understanding Autism Data in the Canadian Chronic Disease Surveillance System, confirms rates of autism diagnoses have increased over time: .14% in 2001 to 2.25% in 2024

The Agency could not say why. I guess if you don't look, you don't find it. This was the first-ever national data collection on autism.

Having raised up 3 kids in the last 17 years 25 vaccines in the first 2 years is a stretch. That said, I kinda thought the chickenpox vaccine makes our kids wimps not having to suffer that one like we did but I guess we didn’t have to suffer from polio and you older folks don’t have to suffer as bad if you decide to take the shingles vaccine.

Probably is around 25 vaccines in two years, many of the shots have 7 or 8 vaccines in a single dose, kinda like tasvax 8 way for cattle, it has 8 different vaccines in a 4 CC dose.

        Vitamin k at birth

Tdap at 38 weeks for mom

        Beyond that its
        • Core vaccines including DTaP-IPV-Hib-HB (diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio, hepatitis B, Haemophilus influenzae type b) and pneumococcal.
        • 4 Months: Also includes meningococcal (MenconC) and rotavirus.
        • 6 Months: Pneumococcal for high-risk children; influenza is recommended annually from 6 months.
        • 12 Months: MMR-Var (measles, mumps, rubella, varicella/chickenpox) and meningococcal.
        • 18 Months: Boosters for DTaP-IPV-Hib and MMR-Var.
        • 4 Years (Preschool Booster): Tdap-IPV (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, polio).
        ?

How dare they eliminate all these hard working diseases and viruses so that children dont have to tough them out!

You want to know why kids have autism? Bcuz of what the moms eat and do while they are in the womb. Look up statistics on autism increase in states with legalized marijuana and legalizing it in canada.

        But yeah its the vaccines.

          It could be absolutely anything.

What else is done differently now than for Boomer kids? Everything?

The food. The activity. The brain stimulation. The chemical exposures.

Vaccines would be far, far down the list of things I’d be worried about.

Had measles and pneumonia at the same time when I was 6 and spent 2 weeks in hospital. Don't wish that on any kid and if they can get shots to lessen the risk I say go for it.

Seems the healthcare system is quick to label/diagnose anyone with the slightest behavioral issues these days. Does the spectrum continually get wider? Maybe the kids with very mild issues were overlooked before society felt the need to put everyone somewhere on the spectrum. Or maybe there were always as many kids with behavioral issues before as there are now, but now there's just more awareness. Would you medicate your kid for autism or ADHD if you really didn't have to? And people live vastly different than they did decades ago, the amount of mental stimulation and exposure to inorganic compounds and highly processed foods in diets with alot less physical activity is much higher than before. I'm not saying there aren't real cases of mental health issues or behavioral problems but I think the healthcare system is apt to diagnose the less severe cases quicker. I bet there's kids that outgrow their diagnosis while other more severe cases go on to possibly lead troubled lives if they aren't treated with therapy and meds. Nothing is ever just black or white...

Are ranches reducing any vaccines with cattle prices being what they are?

Money or the health of your children?

Then there are the regulars on Agriville who constanly bitch about Canada's health system.

Likely the same group that would want vaccine levels drop as well.

Proper diets go along way to better health.

Who’s constantly bitching about the Canadian health care system? Everyone can find a doctor and those that need care always receives care in a timely manner!
