6 in the evening cooling down now, overnight temp to be 23c before a cooling down tommorow just 40c peaked at 46 today but some sharp weather gurus have noted at some sights 45.6 was rounded up to 46 rather than 45.6 can see it on govt websites but 46.1 goes as 46.1 not down to 46 always skullduggery in reporting

Wouldnt crops be burning up in the fields. Or are they already harvested by now?

Naw that heat is good for Australia and Australians and according to Downunder nobody in Australia is concerned about climate change and a hotter and drier future! LOL

-35 this morning and the son in-law phoned at 6AM his truck froze up on the way to work, not a big deal, picked him up and will drag the truck back in daylight, it’s not bad out there at least the wind is down.

I drove a pick up on propane for many years. Freezing up the evaporator was an ever present threat.

At these temperatures the circulating heater had to be plugged in before moving. Otherwise I would get a few miles down the road and the evaporator will turn into a giant block of ice and I'd be walking. No cell phone.
                  I don't really miss that.

They had a go at Natural Gas school buses here.
All kinda of reasons why they were the solution to reduce costs.
                    Only the didn't work here.

I see NG garbage trucks that seem to work fine in California
Maybe they run them on the gas they collect from the landfills?
                    Free?
