You have to manage them. Cold & head wind can reduce range to 1/2 of summer range. Once you have an ev you won't go back, tho. JMHO

Are you in a rural area and if so how far to closest town.

I can’t imagine an EV being useful, some people it’s great, go to town once a month and it’s an hour away, I depend on a one ton when making town trips.

            "clothes optional"
Broken hill sounds like an attractive tourist destination. I'll add that one to my bucket list.

We had a Swedish trainee here moons ago on chaser bin/haul out bin you may call it, aircon flat out still used to go topless funny that year we had no issues getting truckers to take grain to elevator.

Oz been on my list since Croc Dundee came out lol.

Funny how time, energy and money seem inverted your whole life, never all together.

A cute young lady who works for us off and on waa helping me shovel grain on one very hot day. I go topless so I don't get sweated up and get so itchy. I tried to convince her that it was necessary to wear the same thing.

Needless to say, only one of us was topless.

30 miles to nearest town. 100 miles to Regina, a trip I make at least once per week. Fuel cost is down by 75%.

What was your choice for an EV and will that be any different next time?
