Getting to old for it.....Usually get a bit of it sometimes weeks over 40c been spoilt with cooler summers last few years just odd day seems like it again in 2026

I met one of your fellow countrymen yesterday. Touring Canada in a winterized RV. Had just come back from Inuvik last week where he and his wife stayed in an igloo at -44 to enjoy the northern lights.
And their marriage survived, barely...

actually had 42c yesterday one vehicle aint got aircon used rarely has water on it for fire fighting had to shift it yesterday phone over heated and wouldn't work inside cab ..... but
Temp has dropped 22 degrees in 3 hrs here at about 9/10 last night when sea breeze lake breeze came in

Now suggesting it could reach 47 three days 6/7/8 of jan 43 45 47 bit like weather we used to have 30 years ago it aint fun

West of the state just see expecting 50c hottest ive ever experience is 48.5 you guys mightn't think so but massive between 40 and 45c maybe 15 yrs ago had two days of 43 and one of 44 and we were doing stock work in yards had loose fitting shirt big sombrero and drank like no idea 15 litres of water having breaks every hour for 10 minutes slightly shaded area In yards any went to doc on late afternoon of day three just felt slightly dizzy and off, stuck a thermometer where sun dont shine sure enough id blown a radiator gasket over heating "your cooking inside out" each night was having cold showers doing everything right and sadly aint been able to handle proper heat since 38/40c sees me out now called old age
