Sometimes privatization works and sometimes it doesn't . Picking the winner is difficult. Somehow I would not want a Healthcare system that prioritizes profit over care. If you could base profit on success . That could be a concept of a plan.

Aren't all Doctors is Saskatchewan private contractors that bill the system for their work?
When you go for a dr visit they bill that by the minute and a single problem that fit the form they have to send in to get paid?
That's why they won't look at more than one issue per visit or wont talk about your sore shoulder when you go in to get your kid checked for a sore throat?
Every one earns a different income depending on how many patient they can jam trough in a day?
They hire and pay their own clinic staff just like the dentist?
So really just a taxpayer funded insurance plan the pays the bills the Dr's submit?

Can of worms so you dont pay medicare levy in you taxes that HAS TO BE UED for public health so in essence I pay twice so be it. If I get bitten by a snake rush to emergency in nearest town public patient in my youth get smacked up in a blue need a stitch public.. Dental one part of me thats perfect not a single filling brush twice a day get 6 hours free dental work with my private cover usually a plaque clean is it amazing how much there is even with brushing.

Public hospitals are not making a profit they are billing each health system for services provided for cost recovery. If they were making a profit who is getting the profit? LOL

Wages and fees paid to nurses, doctors and hospitals are expenses.

Hospital's get a budget allowance from the province that is not based on payment per visit?
When FN patients use the system they are billed individually to the federal government.
Immigrants get a heath card as soon as they get a SIN number?
Everyone has a SIN number issued if they are going to be paying income tax or require government programs in order to be on file.
I assume Immigrants would be federal responsibility so incremental income to the hospital budget as are FN ?

Presume other parts of world may have hybrid health system then presume maybe Sweden Norway etc free health for all. Norway not best example though have oil wealth and may put spondoolee into hospitals etc
