Who said anything about toxic waste?
Do you think we need to get permission from local tribes to do harbour maintenance?

Your argument is we can never have to much government .
There is no such thing as to much environmental regulatory?

That's why all economic indicators show we are among the worst.

Give up shite that's not the point Eby made. Try to get the facts straight instead of weaseling with your bullshit!

The point was he has several industrial investments on the north coast that require the consent of first nations. And an oil pipeline to the north coast threatens these agreements which are worth billions! Including expanding LNG plants and exports.

      Time to move on Shite!

I was just trying to show you that there is wide agreement to have environmental regulations to govern toxic waste sites and other high risk developments.

Even though a lot of you guys think environmental regulations are over reach and don't matter!

      They obviously do.

Industry wants less because they cost money and profits. But what is the correct balance?

The point Eby made was that Canada has bad governments that is more interested in pandering to what they perceive as their voting base than doing what's best for Canada.
Industry wants a stable investment environment that good government provides.
That doesn't include bringing in the most militant tribal chiefs to prove you can use them to shut down any national projects that doesn't fit with what you campaign on.

Only impresses people like you Chuck, but every potential investor in the world sees it.

Building broad support and compromising is politics.

But Shite you distorted the case Eby made.

He is supporting billions in investments in energy projects just not an oil pipeline to the north coast for Alberta oil because there is not enough support for such a plan amongst BC voters.

And because it will put support for other big projects in jeopardy.

None of that really matters now.
Sure, Eby wanted to get a little support from some of BC's activists from the Environmental group set up by David Suzuki .

He made sure to get the photo op he wanted and sent it out to the world.
            That's what potential investors see.
Can't fix that with a bunch of gaslighting.

And you disagree with Eby who is choosing some industries and investments over an oil pipeline.

But when Alberta does the same you are happy? LOL

              Its just politics!

So your impressed with Eby's performances?
Are you an NDP climate activitist or a potential investor in BC's struggling economy based on money laundering?

So are you guys opposed to LNG exports or what is your problem?
