Surprised to see he got 80% of the vote.
MSM had a lot of coverage about how upset the locals were?
Didn't Chuck have some cut and pastes from the G&M and the Star that indicated the locals were ready to rebel?

Poor PP had a really embarrassing loss in Ottawa and had to retreat to one of the safest rural Conservative ridings in all of Canada! You could run any Conservative, including Big Lentil or Crop in that riding and they would win.

Quite the comedown for PP to be sent back to the hinterland!

This pretty much cements the Conservatives as a rural, western based party of grievance.
Which will not work out well in a general election.

PP is not the guy to win the country! Even if he has slightly softened his aggressive tone a smidge.

He will be lucky to win his leadership review!

I am cheering for him because he will lose the next election for the CPP.

He will ask simple straight forward questions that carney will not answer.
In short time all Canadians, and dumb ass liberal supporters will see a repeat of the TURD and realize yet another idiot is PM.

I'm looking forward to seeing him roasting Carney.
And seeing Carney's ability to respond to someone questioning his authority.

You're spending to much time on government dependent media Chuck.

Their titles for articles were how upset locals are.

Most of them, when the articles were read, were valid concerns like will he be too busy being leader to represent us properly, and will he actually bring rural issues to light or just play politics. Concerns that are pretty applicable to most MPs (not the leader part but how effective will they be)

And if those are the concerns, then none of the other candidates are any better. They aren’t going to be able to debate or care about rural issues, so why not vote PP.
