    What she said x10.

You still have to hope for some qualifications and references from former employers etc etc.

Like the song says, it can be heaven, or it can be hell.

If you can make contact with people in those communities locally, sometimes you can get the word out.
Might get a sister or cousin coming over.

There is a fair chance your going to get some rich kid who has no concept of work.
But some rich kids are the best and highly motivated.

    Same as here?

I don’t want to discourage anyone but 1 out of 10 people might be good when going through applications, some of the best sounding people are the worse employees.

        My limited experience.
Best luck hiring from my extended social circle.
Those from outside our local western rural culture, a mixed bag.

At lunch we were discussing our stories about hiring people. My son reminded us about the time we hired a guy from text to a wrong number.

My wife was texting everyone about what they wanted on their pizza. We buy take out pizza a couple times a season for something different. Anyway my wife gets a reply with a request then he says who is this? My wife, realizing she had texted the wrong number explained and apologized. Then the anonymous texture said are you looking for someone for harvest? I am looking for work. Ha.

            Hired him on the spot.

Maybe should just start texting phone numbers and asking if they want a job.

Good ending stories a far fewer than the sadly hilarious bad ones.

lots of extremely experienced well trained hard working immigrants out there , and lots of freeloading others .
do your homework and it will be fine

The funny thing is hire someone with lots of good references and being a nightmare from day one, was number 1 on a SGI top scammer list for what got him let go. Pulling the crap he did in a small community getting fired probably made him not on the side of a milk carton…
                    local business hired him.
