There are EVs operating everywhere across Canada now. Hybrids are part of the transition.

We will use fossil fuels for a while yet where needed.

But China is driving technological change and lower cost innovation that will reduce the demand for oil and reduce emissions.

BYD is already producing lower cost better quality EVs that are cheaper to run and own than ICE vehicles.

You guys complain about subsidies to green investments which are to jump start the transition to a cleaner diversified economy but you still think its okay to keep subsidizing the fossil fuel industry which doesn't even cover the cost of their own mess?

In the 1970s governments invested heavily in the tar sands to get them going. Why the obvious double standard?
