Can you remind me again how much wind and solar capacity is installed in Alberta versus saskatchewan?

Why do you keep posting facts which contradict your proven false claim about renewables being cheaper than fossil fuels?

      I pay 8.8 cents/ kwh.
does anyone in sask pay that ? Chuck?

We may have high rates if your arent locked in or on a variable rate type policy... but on the whole our eleectricity is pretty cheap here.

but youre right. Farms are very subsidized by the federal govt so breaking away from that would probably be difficult for farmers.

In Saskatchewan I’m paying almost 17 cents per kilowatt.

What is the total cost of the electricity delivered to you?

Because in Saskatchewan the price is based on everything included.

No no no no no.. there has to be a baseline kwh price el chucko.
transmission and upkeep costs are wildly different in different areas and you have to compare apples to apples. Our line companies may not charge as much as yours.. or more..
And i do have different charges in different areas .

Wait. Do you.. * gasps* not even... know ... what your baseline kw charge is? Hint. It would be what your carbon tax is charged on.. ( or was).

come.on man... dont dilute the question here to suit your needs!

I seeeee what youre doing here.

              And wait wait wait...

In your rants and raves about solar
... etc... renewable costs per kwh..

What numbers have you been using?
Post transmission/ upkeep costs or just straight KW cost?

hmm.. seems like maybe some of your numbers over the years may be a bit.. funky....

plus all the costs. Neighbors put in 2 large windmills when program was on 5 or 6 years ago. Big company installed it, lots of trucks, lots of concrete. Worked fairly well until Janu
ary this year when electricity production fell in half. Literally, one tower fell over. Wonder what insurance had to say about that.

Still at the end of the day the highest consumer electricity cost is where the most “renewable energy sources are “
End of the day that’s the reality for the average Joe
