Seems like an opportunity for a confidence vote?
    Politics is all about timing.

Has Freeland just improved her chances of being re-elected by sticking it to Trudeau.

It will be entertaining to watch the pm’s wording on this resignation.

During the Xmas break he needs to take a walk on the beaches of Tofino, enjoy a trip in his dad’s canoe, then borrow Kathrine McKenna’s snow shoes.

But in true Justin logic he knows Canadians still love him and realize he can’t abandon them now as Trump is a threat to Canada.

evil is what she is , she was laughing and could not stop giggling while she was announcing that bank accounts of people who donated to convoy would be frozen

She was too chicken to give her fall report today. The buck stops right at her door. You wanna be finance minister, you better own the failure.

Just locked in my power bill @8.8 c/ kwh
            2 yr term

If the whole of canada or US went electric we would destroy the grid the second they flipped the switch. ( they wouldnt but you know what i mean).
an old aging grid that we need to upgrade. Will take billions upon billions upon billions to do.
Infrastructure isnt there to support it.
canada..not the best place for it.

Small strategically placed nuclear reactors ( such as what microsoft is gonna build... i wonder why gates bought so much farmland?) Are the answer.
            we need to diversify yes.

Hows onTario doin again with their renewables and kwh pricing?

            oh avg 14.1/ kwh
            So nearly double albertas?

hahahha 91 % of ontarios energy in 2021 was produced by renewable energy... with 55% coming from NUCLEAR.
how did that get lumped into renewables?

OUCH this has gotta hurt! In 1985 78% of Canadians were "very proud" to be so
              In 1994 - 71%
              In 2003 - 68%
              2016 - 52%
              And now? - 34%

Thinking Freelands' next book might be similar to JWRs' regarding Prince Justin. He's always lived in his own special universe. 9 years; sickening.

Speaking of power. ND seems to be pounding out all forms.
We are in such a fool's bubble up here.

It's a been moving downward no matter which party was governing.

There could be several other reasons influencing those numbers other than just politics.

Demographics, Canadians who were living during WWI and WW2. National pride would have been very high the following years of those wars. Unfortunately that population would have started to die off rapidly after 1985 -2003

I might throw in recent immigrants who do not yet feel connected to Canada.

Social media, Tic Tok, Instgram, X, Trump Media, Farmer Chat lines.

And finally those that would never be happy no matter where they live and which party is governing , as they always feel hard done by and don't realize how good they really have it living in Canada. There seems to be a growing number of those types now in Canada.

Will PP be able to turn those numbers around??
