From the IEA: The world now invests almost twice as much in clean energy as it does in fossil fuel

Solar, Wind, Biofuels and other renewables worldwide add up to 14 TWh of energy production.
Fossil fuels worldwide add up to 140 TWh of energy production equivalent.

So, we are getting 10 times the energy from fossil fuels for half the investment, or in other words, the "cheapest source of energy" only requires 20 times more investment than fossil fuels.

I can't wait for my energy bill to go down due to additional renewable energy.

Energy costs don't have to go down to claim sucess especially when comparing legacy systems that were already paid for to new builds in an inflationary economy that are coping with increasing demand.

BTW Gas and Coal plants only last about 30 years without rebuilds.

She will likely run for leader when Trudeau finally resigns. News report say he is likely to lose his own seat, so he will resign before that happens. There will be an election before Oct.
