This band will be best to go into hiding because when the books get opened and the true auditors see where the billions disappeared there may be a riot. What is the true deficit? Who would believe their numbers? Clandestine payments to foreign governments, foreign gender groups?

Fossil fuels worldwide add up to 140 TWh of energy production equivalent.

So, we are getting 10 times the energy from fossil fuels for half the investment, or in other words, the "cheapest source of energy" only requires 20 times more investment than fossil fuels.

I can't wait for my energy bill to go down due to additional renewable energy.
Energy costs don't have to go down to claim sucess especially when comparing legacy systems that were already paid for to new builds in an inflationary economy that are coping with increasing demand.

BTW Gas and Coal plants only last about 30 years without rebuilds.

But A5 you don't even understand basic economics let alone your own deregulated electricity system in Alberta!

"Global energy investment is set to exceed USD 3 trillion for the first time in 2024, with USD 2 trillion going to clean energy technologies and infrastructure. Investment in clean energy has accelerated since 2020, and spending on renewable power, grids and storage is now higher than total spending on oil, gas, and coal."

Another female down, as our "feminist" Prime Minister attempts to scold Americans for not electing females.

          Or Success, if spelling matters.

I will remember that next time someone claims renewables are the cheapest new energy source. Looks like the goalposts have been moved again.

Freeland definitely had major issues lately
mental breakdown, physical health issues or a major drug problem.
Some of the recent clips of the news conferences show how bad something has gotten

I'd like to think that she does actually have a conscience, and what we see are the physical manifestations of that showing through.
I can't imagine the mental anguish of being put in that position.

Looks like a bloodless coup by Donald Trump in progress?
Wonder who he wants to lead our country?

She has no conscience, she is the Number 2 on this disaster train. Trudeau is trying to replace her with Carney and she is making her own power play and already says she will run again. She will likely run for leader when Trudeau finally resigns. News report say he is likely to lose his own seat, so he will resign before that happens. There will be an election before Oct.

Watching her answer questions and not even addressing the question asked is so infuriating, I don’t know why they are allowed to do that.
