Instead of the CPC, Pierre should just call it the regressive conservative party because they will happily take us back to the dark ages.
Can you give us an example of how Pierre would take a country the size of Canada into the dark ages in the 21 century.
Plagues, hungry people, the sheriff seizing gold coins. . . Somebody already beat him to it.

He sounds like an evangelical preacher or a rabid socialist/sociopath. About the same thing?

I'm trying to understand this comeback. You keep using it when you get cornered and don't want to acknowledge the actual issue.
Do you think the word libertarian is an insult?
When did I declare myself a troll?
is it possible you have me confused with your former collaborator from Australia?

As for deflection, a certain saying about pots and kettles and dark colors comes to mind. But how is what I do deflecting? This is your forum, with the topics that you choose, almost every thread is yours, you set the tone, nearly every response is directed at you. Therefore, it is not deflection when all of my posts here are ridiculing your ideology, and picking apart your occasional attempt at defending your positions. That is not to deflection on my part, that is keeping the thread on topic. You are the topic. You are the entertainment. Whatever woke liberal cause you choose to embrace on any given thread is very much secondary to Star of the show, you yourself, and you're highly entertaining style.

You long ago admitted that you like being a troll and relish taking me on. So don't play dumb.

And if you want more credibility try posting some evidence from credible scientific organizations.

Then why is it that every time I post something from one of your credible scientific organizations that contradicts your propaganda, you don't respond? Without exception.
In a recent example, you made up the statistic that global warming is causing precipitation to decline. You even repeated it. So I replied with links/quotes from multiple credible scientific organizations with statistics indicating the complete opposite from your non scientific noncredible invented stats. I asked if they are still credible, or if they have been struck from the ever shrinking list because they don't support the agenda?
And you refused to acknowledge.
Do you think that behaviour encourages your opposition to respond?

Over what time period is that ice measurement because it only shows 2019 and you need to look at longer term evidence.

https://climate.nasa.gov/vital-signs/ice-sheets/?intent=121

Ice Sheets

Key Takeaway:

Antarctica is losing ice mass (melting) at an average rate of about 150 billion tons per year, and Greenland is losing about 270 billion tons per year, adding to sea level rise.

Data from NASA's GRACE and GRACE Follow-On satellites show that the land ice sheets in both Antarctica (upper chart) and Greenland (lower chart) have been losing mass since 2002.

This is important because the ice sheets of Greenland and Antarctica store about two-thirds of all the fresh water on Earth. They are losing ice due to the ongoing warming of Earth’s surface and ocean. Meltwater coming from these ice sheets is responsible for about one-third of the global average rise in sea level since 1993.

Try to stay on topic, and not deflect. You have started countless threads on global warming, you could post this on any of them, instead of attempting to deflect the discussion away from Trudeau's shortcomings.

Trudeau will disappear just like the glaciers in the rockies.

Have you been to the Colombia ice fields lately?

Did you see the markers over the decades showing the shrinking Athabasca glacier?

What do you think is causing the glaciers around the world in many places to shrink?

Yeah cc you’ve derailed a thread again. Good for you. This is why you are a thorn in the side here. Next you will put me down and call me a name. Big tough guy behind the keyboard.

Have you seen the athabasca glacier? Why is it shrinking Wilton?

The athabasca glacier as well as many other glaciers have been receding since the ice age ended and the climate started to warm 10000+ years ago. No denying the climate has been warming and do not want to argue either way as there is no point. Far as I’m concerned excessive pollution ground, water, and air is an existential threat as is religion, totalitarianism, foreign meddling, and lunatics which all go hand in hand. Is it okay to label carbon the enemy this generation but yet compromise our security transferring our industrial base and pollution to bad actors like China, or in europes case shut down domestic energy industries in exchange for weaponized oil and gas from an existential threat Russia? I ask you cc what is the best course to balance reducing pollution and keeping the bad actors from collapsing western democracies? None of your worries mean shit all if there’s nothing left to save.
