      I’d just go buy a bag of whatever brands you can find and see what one they like more ???? UFA brand, I think that’s Prostock?, seems to be more palatable.

      Do you have salt mixed in with it right now? Could try that quicker than the molasses.

        I put salt in half the tubs and the cows don’t seem interested, I’ll buy some other minerals, they might like something.

          Here, in spite of the daily rain lately, nearly every permanent slough is still bone dry. As they have been all spring.

            Once you get the levels back up in the herd, I wouldn't worry too much about summer mineral uptake. I was told that it is the months leading up to calving and breeding that are vital. We used to cut back the mineral after about the first breeding cycle. Do you feed silage with a mixer, or grain, or have any other way to blend mineral with the feed in the winter?
