Men want to show photos of their tractors, trucks, bikes, or fish they caught and we have to pretend that’s interesting. Least they can do is nod and smile at our cats and chickens ????

For the record, I have nothing against chicken pictures.
It's a time management issue. This chicken aficionado claims to be a hermit. But once she gets a captive audience, the chicken stories never end, and neither of us accomplishes what we were supposed to be doing.

It's probably a fascinating topic on a slow cold today in january. Not so much during the height of seeding or harvest

One of my jobs as a kid was cleaning Grandma and Grandpa's Chicken Coop every week. I got $2 a week. Supposed to be $2 split between me and my sister, but she quit after the first week. As it turns out, she's allergic to work. I'm just allergic to chickens and dust but I didn't let that stop me from earning $2 a week.

That's been almost 40 years.
Perhaps in another 40 years I will have forgotten how much fun cleaning chicken coops is and reconsider getting back into the business.
