Chuck, have you ever wondered how it is possible that it was so much warmer 80 years ago, when CO2 levels were barely 300 PPM? Then as CO2 kept rising all the way up to the early 80s, the temperature kept dropping. But somehow the warming ever since then has been entirely attributable to CO2.
It's almost enough to make one think that perhaps there is some other Factor affecting our weather. Almost as if it is cyclical.
We've added 130 parts per million of CO2 since the 30s, and still haven't exceeded the temperatures.

Climate change skeptics have pointed to 1934 in the U.S. as proof that recent hot years are not unusual. Choosing the year 1934 is an obvious example of "cherry-picking" a single fact that supports a claim, while ignoring the rest of the data. In fact they have to cherry pick both a location (the U.S.) and a year (1934) to find data that is far from the global trend. Globally, the years 2014, 2015 and 2016 are the hottest on record, so far.

The fact that there were hot years in some parts of the world in the past is not an argument against global climate change. Regional and year-to-year temperature variations will always occur. The reason we are worried about climate change is that on average, over the entire world, the long term trend shows an undeniable increase in global surface temperatures and global ocean temperatures. This rapid global heating is dramatically altering the planet we live on.

Well, there was that time that the climate scientists predicted the coming ice age, they absolutely nailed that one.

Offshore wind is setting up to be one of the biggest boondoggles of the green energy scam.

The US has a small handful of operating Offshore turbines but has billions in subsidies committed to many huge new projects.

The current subsidies aren't enough as all the projects are under water on their financial projections.
Investors are bailing and more government money is needed.
And much higher fixed prices for future production.

Short explanation. They don't and never will make any economic sense.
Only exist with huge taxpayer subsidies followed by much higher electrical bills.
