This is going to stir up the pot. Glad I don’t live around there. Deep apprehension about the rate ai is taking over. Tax goldmine for the provincial government and rm of Sherwood. Where is the water going to come from? Did anybody who will be affected by this get a voice in the decision. And for those who live around Regina, where is the location from the city.

I would rather have a big computer giving off steam rather than an intensive livestock operation that makes everything stink. not sure what the big WORRY is all about. the world has become a NIMBY society no wonder progress on everything has come to a stop.

Yep, hopefully someone one takes up that challenge. Where is the capital coming for these monster projects? I heard lots of tax revenue for province and Sherwood RM.

Yes the money is unreal. $50 billion is more than double the amount going into the Jansen Lake potash mine. That mine will probably be there and producing product a hundred years from now. The GPUs in the data center will be obsolete in 5 years. Bizarre.

They are using 300Mw from the grid, a little more than EB Cambell (sqaw rapids) produces full open.
The plant they are building is 900 MW, the biggest in the system .
Biggest we have now is old coal plant, about 550 MW.

A SMR like SK wants to build is about 300MW.
A large scale nuclear is about 1100MW

Location is just SE of old Plains Hospital. Great location. Gordon's Reserve has property right there, they are going to benefit a lot from it.
