Definitely some damage in areas SW of here from the tornadoes and north of here with hail
Dodged another one , but a long way to go
Apparently a tornado hit a campground last night south of Lloyd . Initial reports are not good
Good to hear you missed the hail.

I should have titled this thread simply storms, since the 5th there has been hail every night in Alberta, as well as Sask.had the opportunity to see a internal AFSC map that shows where the storm have all had impacts in Alberta.
It's pretty insane . If you've had hail as we have , you've got a lot of company this year.

That was quite a little wind. Couple yards by Marsden Chauvin area got thrashed. Dilbury lake campground looked reminiscent of the Pine Lake disaster but everyone accounted for and some minor injuries. Bit of hail around. Have 100 acres of wheat hailed 50%. Neighbour’s canola field trashed. Looks like another possible shitshow today. We’re knocking hay and been missing a lot of the wild downpours lloyds been getting. No one else cutting yet but I’m usually first to start and finish. Can’t let that stuff get too coarse lol.

For some reason one blew up bad yesterday and nailed us . SE winds in late morning fed it
Our luck ran out , 33 1/4’s hit from just touched to beat up bad . Nothing wiped out but significant damage on probably 1/3 of that . By the time we went and looked and added up the acres it was a bit mind numbing. Damage not as widespread as last August but eerily followed nearly the same path .
Tough part is this crop much better than last year
Some will come back , some probably won’t
Some neighbours hit worse than us as far as damage, but it went right through the heart of our farm with two distinct fingers as it went ESE after it blew up over river
A definite tornado went right over the farm but thankfully never touched down here .
Was a crazy 1/2 hour , some areas just north of farm got 2.5 to 3 inches from it . Water all over just north of farm . Started just west of Delmas , went east over us and travelled a very long way east past Viscount

Sitting in the house with no power. Crazy wind, likely a plow wind with heavy rain and hail. Can only see with lightning strikes but looks like some of our shade trees are knocked over. Will be a little anxious when the sun comes to see what’s damaged.
A little worried for the cutter bee huts.

I hate when the patio furniture ends up at the neighbors. Hoping the major storm cell stayed south of the farm, everything was already swimming.
