Ugly system yesterday , watched one cell go from South Calgary in the early afternoon, straight east through the Eston area and east from there , looked like it had hail happening almost the whole way. It got 8-10 percent of our seeded acres 10-50 percent. Multiple other storms yesterday across the south add that to the ones in central Alberta Sat night and there were a lot of acres affected.

Only 1/2 inch last night lots of wind and light show. Washed the mud off the beans that where under water a few days ago but water lines did come back up. Two warm days are showing the standing water in tall crops now won't be corner to corner crop to take off. Plane looked after son's winter wheat hopefully combine friendly in a few weeks.

For the most part we escaped much damage , some barley lodged but not nearly as bad as many areas
Definitely some damage in areas SW of here from the tornadoes and north of here with hail
Dodged another one , but a long way to go
Apparently a tornado hit a campground last night south of Lloyd . Initial reports are not good
