Fortunately or not we are in the desert area where it does not rain. O f course there is always an exception

Yes deleted no extra HP because why 620 is enough. It had 3558 hrs and good maintenance.

Last night melville area got hit 2.23 in we had 1 to 2/10. The rain total for the month so far is just over 1 inch,

Reserve also got heavy rain no gauge on it.

over an inch of rain last night. so we're done... only 1/3 of canola seeded. after overland flooding this spring and 2 inches of snow/rain on long weekend finally started seeding on may 27th. since then we've had some amount of rain on 8 of the 12 days enough to have to stop seeding.
Guys are floating on canola but I don't see the point, how do you get any fertility on? unless you float again with fert. but harrowing in mud is just making a big mess. crop insurance says crop must be up and established before coverage kicks in so why blow out $1000/bag seed on a chance it might grow?
Oh and the mosquitos... they will drive you insane.

She’s bad news out this way Furrow. 6-7-8 inches of rain on already wet ground equals shit. Lots of overland flooding. Rescue situations. Bridges, roads and fields washed out. Gonna be a while until things get fixed up. On top of that more rain tomorrow night and Wednesday

the current plan is... next year is my 50th crop so will be 75% canola. the to wet to seed will be chem fallow and maybe a pass with a cultivator to airate the soil. and then canola into summerfallow with a high yield prtection under crop insurance. big canola crop and big agristability payment(yeh right) and go out with a bang as it were. lol
