Rain yesterday so headed to Regina to see grandkids.Suprised not much seeding done, three water cannons going. Looked wet in the city , we had 3/10 so will fire up this afternoon. Forecast looks terrible for next few days. Rain and wind. Still early lots of May left yet.

Those doing 12k or more per drill would have higher blood pressure.

One neighbor does 20,000 with an 84ft vaderstad. 24hrs

I think they keep a tow rope handy.

I can't even wrap my head around the logistics of that. That can't be an area where they apply big amounts of fertilizer or at least not with drill?
Must be big tracks of contiguous land? If that was 125 separate full quarters, Just allowing an hour to travel, set up and adjust each time would be more than 5 days in itself.

Some big fields. Probably mostly half sections.

They have a 980 tank and maybe 4,300 gal. Liquid cart. Plenty of fert.

Usually start early and finish late.

100 ac/ft starts to bump your head around here. Many with less.
Tomorrow we'll need to find a bush to load behind with 80k winds.
