Now I feel really inadequate. 55 acres per foot and barely get it all done.

Between rain delays, humidity delays, breakdowns, operator error, pushing the limits of capacity, getting stuck, roots, stumps, logs,, rocks, plugging openers in mud,, chasing endless electronic Gremlins etc etc

We’re running just over 100 acres a foot and haven’t turned a wheel yet. Hopefully we don’t get much of this rain and get going early next week.

Enough under seeded acres down to 34 acres/ft this year. Haven’t turned a wheel, so happy for that low number.

Finally had a QTR that could be harrowed in a couple days. Now the sky’s opened and it’s dumping on us bad.

Have the markets even acknowledged the situation in Sask ?
                probably don’t care I know
but a huge very productive zone virtually has not started yet and is taking the brunt of this very wet system on top of very saturated ground
It’s mid May , absolute prime time and not an acre in 2/3 Sask is being seeded , some won’t get seeded if at all till June .

The worst part is that fishing season opened today and it's too miserable to go.

Snowing here right now. Just got started Wednesday and started raining. Not a lot seeded around here. Wasn’t too dry but not soppy wet neither. Have had over an inch of rain and now snow. Not panicking any as we needed this moisture. North and east of here I reckon it’s a struggle for sure. Grass has a good start for a change.

Must be ice on the lake?

Lot of water moved here but it was getting close
The river is still running hard at what would be a high level for most springs.
Went to PA to hockey games and I think saw one field mudded in with lots of wet spots left.
One field to the east with seeding outfit sitting by the approach. That's 2 fields in 90 miles.
Pastures are dried up and showing a little green.
Snow on the grass this morning.
Some buds on the trees and hummingbirds in town.
