Wheat values need to go up by 1$/ bushel for me to consider growing it. Cleaned seed already but with a prebooked amount of fert ill throw in more pulses and take N fert and throw in more canola. Dealer wont let me.get any more urea for $ 815/ mT. Lol. Weird. Almost like their new price is 1200$/ mT.

I will be honest, I am a card carrying member of the Conservatives and I feel in the last 6 months that Carney has done a pretty good job. What do you hear from Poilievre ? Not much. Seems he was just geared to fight Trudeau. Trudeau is a total dork and did a lot of damage in pretty much every country he visited. Carney is now trying to fix this problem that the Liberals themselves created. IMO nobody has come up with a idea how to renew any sort of "free trade " agreement with the US. Sounds to me Trump wants a kickback just for the privilege of doing business with them. Do you really think it was Canada taking advantage of them? I certainly don't think so. The crazy thing is that Trump wants money from just about every country for the privilege of doing business with them. Just about every one is looking to broaden their trading partners. Canada was far to reliant on the US for the bulk of our trade. It was easy and generally made sense. I don't think anyone anywhere including the US saw a global trade war being initiated by the US. I can expect just about every country Carney visits is looking for some new trade partners. If Carney would just drop the gun buyback/ seizure he would build more inroads into western Canada. I think he is already improved the west's feelings towards him and as long he keeps moving away from the Trudeau era policies it will improve. The Conservatives have to rethink what they want to do

Anybody who thinks little evil man carnage is doing a good job needs to sober up quick. Enjoy the 'new world order'. Sure trade diversification is a good idea. The Harper conservative government pursued 36 trade agreements around the world. The reality is that still nobody is buying from canada except the US. Carnage is globe trotting every day but absolutely nothing good has come from it. China is buying canola because their bin was empty. That has been the case every time. Giving carnage credit for that is just wrong. The US market is the big prize and everybody knows it, and yes that is why President Trump can charge a fee for access. He has a good cause: 38T in debt.

Never underestimate the capabilities of the Orange Wizard and the power of his magic wand.
A wave of said wand can have canola crashing down erasing alot of gains. May gained over 40 dollars this week, limit down can be 40 dollars first day.... stairs up, elevator down. Sure hope I'm dead wrong, would be more than happy to be. I'm not saying anything will happen but nothing would surprise me. I've been pricing into this rising market, although sold too much too early, but I'm not out. At least I never took my usual marketing path approach with an all or nothing sale!

Now if we could get a FAIR PRICE for our wheat mid point Sask, finally seeing some increases but usually after other areas have already had better prices.

Carney is looking after Brokefield … very few of these “deals” do not involve his own financial interests
in time it will prove true
