All we need now is to drop the EV tariffs. This is the best news in 6 months since this started.

It really only supports the pea market.

Well that would be extremely helpful for a lot of pea growers

I think the title of this thread should have been
            " No shit Sherlock"
In a shocking reveal the Chinese are admitting the Canola tariff is because of the EV tariff.
What someone has to explain to the Chinese is the government of Upper Canada doesn't much give a rats ass about the dumb peasants in the hinterland and the odds of those EV tariffs going anywhere are about as high as me not yelling at a trespassing pheasant hunter at some point in the next 72 hours

I myself will be going to our Chinese consular office in Calgary and explaining these facts and to the consular officials in the next couple weeks to do my part to reopen the canola trade as my pallet racking that I ordered from Uncle Weiner's came in during harvest and I better go pick it up.

Ottawa has spent the last decade actively trying to suppress the export of commodities from the prairie provinces. Who doesn't love a tanker ban that applies to Alberta oil but not Alaska oil going to California or Washington

Still say this would have never happened if farmers and Ritz had given the CWB to China instead of Saudi Gov't. Why Saudi Gov't? Farmers made their bed with China and every time there is political or any issue with them they will pick on AG.

Lots of canola that went to town was contracted months ago the rest is being bin locked by many . China will be watching thinking bottom is in and start buying soon . Has nothing to do with tariffs just the art of the deal crap . Just this turkey's thoughts ! Happy Thanksgiving !

There has been a lot of $$$$$$$ dollars lost by these tariffs. Political incompetence should not be paid for by western Canadian farmers.

Sadly we have farm groups that want to say farmers can afford it.
