Send me my compensation if any, in the form of a direct payment……

Not hard at all to figure out.

        Agriculture is all politics.
We have no influence on the power machine here.
There will be no difference to the industry when the number of canola producers goes from 40,000 to 20,000.

Farming is not profitable in Canada today plain and simple. Fun hobby though.

One day when I was a dealership and talking to a mechanic , he started talking about what farmer's machines are worth. SO I took him to his toolbox and looked at his tools. WOW I said you must be rich.

He replied, " I never thought of it that way."

It's all perspective , machinery is a necessary tool. I don't like the. cost.

And to goalie guy , I sure hope you are not on any farm group or have an MPs ear. You are doing the base industry ( farmers ) a real disservice.

They have to realize that money was just taken from us because of eastern politics that they voted for.
Dies the general public bat an eye at billion dollar companies got bail outs from Covid and the latest liberal bailouts to billion dollar companies like steel and others ??
Vast majority of us are family farms taking this on the chin regardless of what machinery we operate, that’s petty thinking in the big picture

If Carney is going to talk to industry and not farmers, we are phucked!

I really don't trust the people on these boards.

Number 1 reason - They have all been silent for over a year on this issue.

Number 2 reason - When some on the boards got caught short on their contracts a few years ago they hollered pretty loudly for changes so agristability would bail them out.

In other words they only look out for their own interests. Look at Todd Lewis as an example , he self promoted his way to a senate seat under the disguise of working on behalf of farmers. Will he do much for farmers as a senator? As a senator and former farm rep, shouldn't he be front and centre on this issue? Maybe getting a senate study done on this issue? crickets?
