    Many guys just east and SE of the farm got it way worse
    Some have no crop left period there.
    Went for drive after assessing our damage and getting hail claims in
    From straight south of our farm for miles there is zero crop left standing . Spooky to see and there were some very decent crops through there that caught a rain or two in July .
    most of what I seen is not even salvageable for feed , crazy

      Because just that age, our whole farm in 1983 got 50-100% hail Aug 20. Swathed and standing crop. Polish canola in bin, Argentine on the ground under swaths. Wheat all flat as a pancake, swathed was glued to the mud.

      Golf ball hail pounded a roar like I never heard before or since for half an hour! All shingles were toast, Bin roofs still have the dents.

      Yes, feel for you, it's crushing, but never happened since....

          sorry to hear that furrow we were fortunate this year. we got hailed on 40 to 50 percent 3 out of the last five years l.last year was drought.
