Will be interesting if it actually can break through the dry wall and come north
Far too late for most crop here but some canola and later cereals
pasture absolutely need a recharge and definitely the forest North desperately needs a lot of rain . Lakes are very low in the north

Areas to the NE of here have had more rain (and hail) this week than the crop has had to grow on since seeding at the beginning of May. Not sure that is winning or losing the rain lottery. I have had close to 1.5" between Sunday evening and last evening and am hoping that is it until the crop has been salvaged and put into the bin. The last thing I want to do is try scraping a small crop out of the mud. I think the wheat will make 35 and the barley better at 70. This is on solonetzic ground. Much of the better ground in area will not be doing much better though. Late seeded crops could benefit from recent rains. Turn that alarm on snooze until June in the spring.
