Melfort got about 1/2 in last I heard.
        Nipawin about SFA.
I think Melfort was about on the line where it petered out.
Pasture stopped growing and the crops are looking like they are turning in parts of the field that maybe lower organic levels or the snow drifted off?

Fat lady isn't singing yet but she is on the stage.

There are some areas that were more or less fortunate with earlier showers

Even a few areas where the crop looks poor from drowning out in late June storms that were only a few miles wide.

Cool weather has been good for oats and canola but can't go forever without rain.

Half inch at my place about half way between Tisdale and Nipawin.
The cool weather with smoke and really high humidity should help canola and peas.

We've had 3/10 in the last 30 days. 1/10th out of this last "rain event".

We threaded the needle again and got nothing. Still holding on with the 1inch from July 7. Nothing since then here.

We finally got a much needed 1/2” late Sunday night, probably smoke is a good thing keeping temperatures down lately.

We lucked out and got between 3/4 - 1" over the last 3 days. Our wheat and durum was starting to turn white. The Barley and oats were seeded in June, so still holding on okay. Flax just starting to flower and Canola is filling. Lentils have been flowering for a month now, Honestly I don't know how this year will shake out. The cool Temps and smoke have probably saved our crops more than a guy thinks.

3/10" last time, MASSIVE clouds, dark cool days and ZERO falls to the soil? WTF?

NOT ONE T- storm or any thunder this summer, strange for us....better not RAIN all of August, really screw crops with second growth and WEEDS! Enjoy if you got rain, lottery yes...
