    TASFARMS....
I don't want to rain on your parade but shouldn't that black cap with the hole in it be ON THE RAIN GUAGE? The hole on it is likely smaller than the opening on the rain gauge with out it. It might not make that much difference? Does it actually belong on that gauge.

Glad to hear some people are getting decent rains, we're doing ok here but only seem to be getting enough to prevent the crop from going backwards hard. I'd like more "yield insurance", but I better not look a gift horse in the mouth and be grateful for what we have been getting. We haven't had as much rain as last year up to this point but also never had the continuous blast furnace we had last year either...up to this point.

. Radar shows it’s raining but not a drop. I’m done looking at weather apps. Some early cereals here are turning quick. If you were to swath you could be going next week.

That cap is for a different gauge that was there once apon a time

You know you get more rain if you measure in mm. Hahaha

Friend from Manning area stopped in yesterday. Some of his land has has a inch of rain total all spring, some has had up to 2 inches. Pictures of his crops were certainly a reality check. Wheat and barley looked like there would be enough to combine, the canola was another story, hadn’t even bolted, he said it wasn’t dead but wasn’t growing either. Not sure what you say, we had just had 3/4 of an inch the night before.

This rain event is special! It's going to drive grain prices down and our crop into a crop insurance claim.
