Giving opinions is different than giving advice.
I leave lots of money on the table, in hindsight.
Managed money, technical traders, politics politics and more politics, all appear to influence the grain commodity markets as much or more than fundamentals. Ya it drives me nuts too.
And the markets seem so volatile, I remember back when if you captured a dime per bushel of canola it felt like a victory, now the moves and swings seem so wild.

I'm not defending anyone, I'm just saying... There is more life in a graveyard than there is in the Commodity Forum of this website. Let's not scare away anyone willing to contribute, take what you like and leave the rest. I don't know how to increase traffic in this specific forum.

People hold their cards close to their chest and don't like to reveal strategies or moves they've made, especially in an open public forum(pride?). Everyone markets grain differently, what works for one farm may not necessarily work for another... lifestyle, cash flow needs for operating, mortgages and other loans all need money. Market accordingly. One size doesn't fit all. Oh, and good luck, because I think there's an element of luck involved.

That's accurate, most NEVER share details, just hints, but we can all research, get advice, read, learn, before BIG changes.
