      Seems like everyone has a different policy... but usually there is some substantial fee to get out of the contract. (difference in price + admin fee) x shortage.


      If there isn't a fee - its because the price has dropped quite a bit below your contracted price. (if that happens call your neighbour or find someone else to fill the contract and don't cancel it with the elevator)

        Just talked to a friend he said cargill wont let someone else fill his contract.

                    That's one of those times where you don't say anything, just haul in your neighbour's grain to fill your contract, get paid, and pass on the payment to your neighbour. It's a wash on your books and no hassle or bargaining with the terminal.
