Huge area here with less than an inch since April. Crop that was seeded in April just sitting, smoke will provide some relief. If no real rain by June 25 its over.Could be a busy year for SCIC.

You farm near a giant coffee pot?
I'm not far from there either. About a half inch of rain since the snow left. It's getting desperately dry, the hay is turning brown on the hills and it's not even June. I'm just dusting in my greenfeed crops now. Not good.

Maybe 2/10” here since April. We do have subsoil moisture but it won’t last long and the top is bone dry. Heavy smoke rolled in about noon Friday. Pretty sure I saw ashes falling for about when it first rolled in but with the wind we had it was hard to tell. Speaking of wind we have had enough of that too.

Seemed to be some little pieces of leaves also.
We are only about 10 miles south of the east edge of the fire.
Temp dropped from 30 to 22 in about 2 hrs.
