Watched show about atmospheric rivers have moved north 700 kms. I wonder if the moisture is not south of us any more for upslopes that eastern winds use to set up for rains. East winds don't seem to bring the rain like they use to.

That should have nothing to do with it. Modern treatments need the beetle to eat now die later as I understand it,
