We had 3/10 last night , started planting today at 1 then at 3 a thunder boomer dropped 6/10. Getting to be a bit much for sure. Drove to Regina and the drills are all going into ideal conditions it appears

I would think possible widespread frost in western Sask Sunday / Monday morning.
Question will be zero or colder , time will tell . Maybe stay above zero but hard NW winds will drive cold air in by Sunday morningLast edited by furrowtickler; May 18, 2024, 05:02.

Don't say "boat", that's doesn't help. Same here east of Edmonton, rain every two days, going to try again tomorrow before rain on Sunday. Unfortunately for once the forecasts are accurate Going to be some unseeded areas.Originally posted by blueversi View PostSame boat right at my place anyhow, ground was just getting fit and I started a couple days ago but got thunderstorm yesterday afternoon and it’s mud again. Forecast not looking good.

Got an inch Thursday night. Now a cold nw wind. Wouldn’t doubt it freezes in the usual places. Lawn just about should be cut. Pastures coming on nicely. All my wheat is in. Did I mention the cold nw wind?
