Once again it looks like new record cold temps will be recorded at the nearby Vegreville weather station. This station is in the middle of a section of land at the Alberta Innovates center so no urban heat island effect. This is why there is no evidence of globull warming at all. The forecast calls for -46 which should beat the -44.6 recorded in both Feb 2019 and Dec 2021. Who knew carbon taxes would work so well.

Noticing how over the years warnings get more dire and appear at warmer temps.

We had an old mercury thermometer where below -30 the mercury would all be in a little bulb at the bottom. I remember it not coming out of that bulb for over a month. Haven't seen that for a few years now. Also remember snow covering fences all over the prairies and being able to ride snowmobiles where ever you wanted. Haven't seen either for like 40 years.
