Friday Crop Report on a Thursday.

Well the last week was spit spit spit spit. Nothing really big for rain just weird weather.

But we didn’t finish in May. Click image for larger version

    93% done seeding plant 23.

Most in our area would need one to two days and we’re all done.

    Crop report.

Peas / Lentils are all up growing slowly it seems this year. Spraying on some could begin late next week.

Barley is up nice and fields are greening up.

Hrs is all over the place from ready to spray to just getting seeded. Funny three week difference in seeding but will catch up.

Canola is final crop going in and some fields are up in area. No issues yet.

Oats and late barley will be seeded last plus feed corn and millet.

Total rainfall for the year is 1.24 in since May 1.

Crop prices are nose diving faster than a liberal looking for a free handout.

Have a great week and stay safe.

Time to finish picking rocks and leveling ruts from wet areas at seeding.
Windy today and caught up spraying for now

        Took me about 15 minutes

Spraying the Timothy. The one crop that’s good with water.

                  1250 canola to go.
                  Another half inch overnight
                  Getting to be a battle.
Oh well take it …. Might need it later!
Will make the beer taste better … later!
