If we ever get all the moisture that the various models state, our area would be sheepwheat area. It never happens. Why doesn't that translate into the models?

That won’t be good. I see that’s what is in our forecast as well and the temperature looks not great in the long range either. Ground was just starting to dry up from the weekend 3/4 inch low spots saturated again.

Minus 3 and snowing, very real worries of not seeding here.

I think we are at least 10 days out before we can start anything. Unless you are south slope and south facing.

Acres going in lickety split around Regina, even the gumbo going. Soil conditions are pretty good but would we would be set back with any rain at all right now.

Every big water places are running, only hills DRY, touch moist to harrow on half of field. Should soak into DRY subsoil in a week...hard to wait, best not to get several inches before that.

I am debating if I should bother changing oil in my tractors. 24 dollar canola x 0 is 0.

And another 3/10 in the gauge this morning. If we get forecasted amounts for Friday it’s going to be a mess around here.

We are in decent shape here yet , but pastures are in trouble already for cows and not far SW of here soil moisture is very low . We have about 10 days then we will be in same boat . Glad to have some but drills are pulling hard already in gumbo and it will start lumping in a week

Yup. Five mm becomes 25 mm. Or zero rain forecast and it rains for two days. This is looking like 2010, one of the years zero was seeded.

Yup, forecast was for 2mm and we got 15mm with another 30mm in the forecast.

Couple guys tried a few rounds yesterday. Very wet below. Lots of little potholes to jump around. Be some acres unseeded probably.

Moisture an inch down and maybe 9 to 12 inches further, but that's it ,nothing below that , unless it's under a big boulder.
RAIN damit , so I can lock in some new crop
