    No ****ing doubt
    Medigo is in quebec
    They got $173 million
So the non Quebec co should be happy with 8 million ?
And the MSM bribe was $695 million in 2018, hopefully it is all spent
So yea 8 million pretty *** substantial to some I guess?
    Un****ingbelievable
The real part you missed tho is that he couldn’t get a call back

How about answering my questions as to how much more should have been invested, how many more r and d firms supported, and what should be done now for Providence?
This is all just a red herring. Yes, it would be great if we had sponsored a made in Canada solution and got lucky but we didn't need to take that risk.

Skippy and Hairdu spent the first 6 months of 2020 playing footsie with the Chinese. They didn't even start negotiating with big pharma until late August. LATE AUGUST FERCHRISAKE. We are absolutely at the back of the line. By the time we showed up pharma didn't need to negotiate any domestic production which we absolutely could have done if we had been at the table when the rest of the G20 was doing their negotiations. The Libs completely dropped the ball on this. They bought a token amount of vaccines in December for some astronomical price per dose so that they wouldn't have the optics of the entire world starting to vaccinate while Canadians sat by and watched. Now the chickens are coming home to roost.

Its only going to get worse. The Economist - which I generally regard as a pretty Liberal rag - has a graphic showing when they expect the world to get vaccinated. Canada is on par with Russia and Brazil. They don't expect us to get vaccinated until 2022. You think lockdowns are bad? Just wait - you ain't seen nothing yet.

"Do you realize Canada has signed agreements with the following companies"

Maybe, hard to believe a Lieberal minion, BUT that was after the China vaccine would not happen, due to Meng....in August! Canada Last to the party, now requires bribes/double/ triple cost to get any at all or last in line. The first batch was a SYMPATHY delivery for the poor SOB Turdo! Must have cost us MILLIONS!

Can you imagine the uproar when the second doses are “expected” and don’t show up for months/or years?
Good work, count on foreigners cause our own aren’t good enough - sort of like the disdain for fossil fuels, the most dense, efficient, available gift that keeps giving for generations.

More unbelievable is you think Providence and Medicago are equivalent and should have been treated exactly the same. Have you compared the companies? Let me help you there. Medicago began in 1999, Providence in 2015. Medicago is has a lab in Quebec City as well as another in Raleigh NC and employees over 450 people. Providence address, as of 2016 financial filings still listed its head office in a home on the south side of Calgary and there is no listing of number of staff other than the leadership team. Medicago has published 20 scientific papers. Providence none. Medicago has completed trials and registration is pending for one seasonal flu vaccine and has 4 more in clinical trials beside the covid vaccine which started phase one trials last July. The only vaccine Providence has ever produced is their covid vaccine which has not yet started phase one trials. Providence is using mRNA for their vaccine, the same as Pfizer and Moderna uses and have been researching for a number of years whereas Medicago is using a unique and different method for creating a vaccine. So if you are looking for a new vaccine for a novel virus is it a better idea to fund a startup with no experience in flu vaccines that is betting on creating one using the same tech as 2 major pharma's that are already testing such vaccines on flu or do you invest in an established company using a unique way to make a vaccine that already has trials on going for vaccines with the flu.

Oh you must be right Case, the decision was made simply because one is eastern based and one is western. And you tell me to think! You are a joke!

well you wont answer my questions on what you would have done differently and blame this on east west bs before even looking at the facts of the two companies. as far as me calling you a joke, may I remind you two days ago on another thread you called me the bullshit cop.

There’s a lot of information missing here DML. Maybe they both could have been funded instead of billions sent to fund who knows who offshore. As it was stated on CBC Radio, they(Providence The****utics) didn’t even receive an answer back from the feds for months while Health Canada was courting pies in the ski offshore. We’ll see how far the feds get with their foreign friends.

cmon dml, show some sense already. You are treading water here.

Why be obtuse? canada is now at least 18months away now from vaccination.

Why not phone up best buds Beijing Biden and beg for few hundred thousand doses.

By the time we get near vaccination, this strain of virus wont even exist anymore and neither will our economy.
