What ever your opinion on this we need to know what the future holds. And start looking at developing other industries. Sell out oil cheap domestically so we can be better then competitive in new industries. But you’d have to have a plan and not be owned by the unions or the oil companies.

Leaving politics out, the whole oil industry is still beyond confusing. When oil hit $150 back in 2008 there wasn’t a day that went by where Hubberts Peak was referenced and how our oil soaked economy was running out of oil and the price could go unthinkably high. Furthermore the Saudis has ruined their fields by water injection, creating a terrible shortage. 12 years later oil is a quarter of the price and their appears to be supply to last a million years.
