Like I said April showers bring May flowers and this is a nice slow rain. It’s warm so it will do more good than any amount of snow last winter.

Plan B for harvest now we’ll probably start peas next week with drill 1 and wheat with drill 2.

Combine crew can work on last few fields.

Yesterday it was fun to harvest frost will be coming out now for sure

Nice calm sunny day here. Now just need the temps to climb and the rain to stay away.

Same here, most of the snow has disappeared in the fields now, only have the fence and bush lines left. Don’t need any rain for a few weeks, with any luck hope to start seeding on the 11th of May.

There is ice 10 inches down. Fields are not thawed around here. May 10, start seeding is my guess but if some heat materializes maybe sooner.

Probably ten days till seeding here, unless you have to be first and like going around extra small spots of standing water. Not looking for any rain,,, maybe midway through planting.
Your description sounds exactly like what has been happening in our area the last week.
