    Oct 3th, anyone combining anywhere?

Still saturated here with plenty of standing water in the fields. Boxed in with heavy fog this morning, can't believe it's Thursday already, won't be combining here till atleast Sunday.

Which is worse, cutting standing canola and having a harder time seeing the water/mud spots, or picking up canola swaths and having to continually pull out to go around the wet spots with an empty combine running?

A few combines rolling up here in the Northeast. Some how we have missed most of the rain and snow.

I am not sure what your land is like but in my clay we mostly just plow straight through and where the water is the best going. The clay under the water is hard and the water keeps your wheels clean. Hardly ever get stuck but make awful ruts.

north-central AB. We're going. Swathed canola testing 11-12%. Not sure about standing canola. Standing wheat was 23% a couple days ago. Almost half done.

Wind and sun, try Saturday for sure! Lots of tough wheat to dry anyway, Bill needs the CO2 Tax. McKenna can go @#$%^&* Turdo!

I decided to move a swather home today about 15 miles, not one field harvested on the whole trip. There is some done around here but would doubt its 10% yet. Still some snow wherever the crop is down and on top of swaths. Forecast for Tuesday calling for snow again, may not get a chance before that anyhow, been cold and damp, wow we got a long ways to go.
