Nothing happening around here - we got @ 3/4" Thursday with another 1 1/2" in the YR forecast for Sun/Mon with the next shot coming next weekend. Fields are wet. Corn silage is going to be a challenge both with ground conditions and the custom operators getting backed up.

Only guy moving is the guy with $1300 an acre oats. Easy for him to afford to cook it down! Lol zero canola has been done, lots is gr@ss green in the swath. Stuff other than barley was just getting ready here.

Something wrong with the thread title. How does one restart, when one hasn't yet started for the first time?
Still needed a week or two of HOT weather to finish these crops off. Even wheat seeded in early May still has noticable green, not second growth, or delayed germination, we have just had that little heat all summer thanks to global warming.
Sheepwheat, how does one accomplish $1300/acre oats? Organic and 200+ bushels per acre? Or is there something else hiding in the oats that has a little more value?
